General Submission Guidelines

Carayan accepts literary work in English, Cebuano, and Tagalog.
Send submission to submissioncarayan@xu.edu.ph
The subject line should read “Carayan Submission – Genre – Your name” (Otherwise your submissions will NOT be read.)
Include a bionote of not more than 100 words.
For poetry, texts should be included in the body of the email, no attachments.
Visuals should be in jpeg format.

Submission According to Genre

Fiction and Nonfiction
All kinds of fiction and nonfiction.  If the work is a travel essay, please include pictures.

Poetry
1 to 5 poems of any length.  You may include visuals in jpeg format

Literary Criticism
Paper style is open (MLA, APA, etc); more important is it’s based on sound research.
The journal reserves the right to reduce the size of illustrative material.
